Urolmax Indications
For dissolution of cholesterol gallstones no larger than 15 mm in diameter in patients with a functioning gallbladder, despite the presence in it of gall stones.
For the treatment of gastritis with bile reflux.
For symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) in the absence of decompensated cirrhosis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any substance that is part of the drug.
Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts.
Obstruction of the bile ducts (obstruction of the common bile duct or duct).
Capsules Ursomax is not prescribed to patients with gallbladder not visualized radiological methods, with calcified stones with impaired contractility of the gallbladder or those who have frequent biliary colic.
Dosage & Administration
Age restrictions on the use Ursomax not. For patients whose body weight less than 47 kg or who have difficulty swallowing capsules Ursomax is available in another pharmaceutical form of ursodeoxycholic acid - suspension.
For dissolution of cholesterol gallstones
Approximately 10 mg of ursodeoxycholic acid / kg body weight, equivalent to:
60 kg - 2 capsules;
61-80 kg - 3 capsules;
81-100 kg - 4 capsules;
More than 100 kg - 5 capsules.
