Glycerin suppositories Farmina Indications
Intestinal obstruction of different etiologies (when oral use is not possible).
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Intestinal obstruction, renal insufficiency, appendicitis, bleeding, diarrhea, hemorrhoids in the stage of exacerbation, fissure cracks, inflammatory diseases, rectum tumors, undiagnosed abdominal pain.
Dosage & Administration
Apply 1 suppository 1 time per day in 15-20 minutes after breakfast.
The suppository is injected into the rectum and kept there for at least 5 minutes, if there is no emptying before. The remnants of suppositories are excreted from the body along with the stool masses. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 2 suppositories per day.
Adults and children from the age of 5 years appoint 1 suppository (containing 1.5 g of glycerol) 1 time per day. Children under 5 years of age-1 suppository (containing 0.75 g of glycerol) once a day.
