Aurotaz R Indiations
Adults, elderly people
- lower respiratory tract infections (including nosocomial pneumonia);
- uncomplicated and complicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis);
- uncomplicated and complicated infections of the skin and soft tissues (abscess, infected sores);
- intra-abdominal infections;
- bacterial septicemia;
- in combination with aminoglycosides used in the treatment of patients with fever that emerged against the backdrop of neutropenia.
Children aged 2 to 12 years:
- In combination with aminoglycosides used in the treatment of patients with fever that emerged against the backdrop of neutropenia;
- Intra-abdominal infections, including complicated forms of acute appendicitis, with advanced diffuse peritonitis; with appendiceal infiltrate associated with abstseduyuvannyam.
Mixed infections (caused by gram-positive and gram-negative aerobic and anaerobic flora).
Contraindications
Allergic reactions to any penicillin, cephalosporins or beta-lactamase inhibitors.
Dosage & Administration
Skin test for tolerance must be done before using the drug.
Aurotaz-R should be administered intravenously for about 20-30 minutes or intravenous bolus slowly for at least 3-5 minutes.
Patients with neutropenia fever condition is most often a sign of infection. In this case, you can initiate empiric therapy with Aurotaz-R before the results are known crop sensitivity to antibiotics.
