Cytoflavin Indications

- acute stroke;
- dyscirculatory (vascular) encephalopathy stage I-II and the consequences of cerebral circulatory disorders (chronic cerebral ischemia);
- toxic and hypoxic encephalopathy in acute and chronic poisoning, ekzotoksikozah, oppression of consciousness after anesthesia, as well as for the prevention and treatment of hypoxic encephalopathy during cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass.
- Newborn children (including preterm gestation 28-36 weeks) prescribed in the complex therapy of cerebral ischemia.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Patients (excluding infants), which are in a critical state, to stabilize the central hemodynamics and / or by reducing the oxygen partial pressure in arterial blood <60 mm Hg. Art. Nephrolithiasis, gout, hyperuricemia.

Dosage & Administration

Intravenously.

Drip in a dilution of 100-200 ml of 5-10% solution of glucose or 0.9% solution of sodium chloride.

In acute stroke drug is administered as early as possible from the beginning of the disease in a volume of 10 ml for administration at intervals of 8-12 hours for 10 days. In severe disease the single dose was increased to 20 ml.

In vascular encephalopathy and consequences of cerebral circulatory drug is used in a volume of 10 ml of 1 times a day for 10 days.
