Combigan Indications
Open-angle glaucoma.
Ocular hypertension (when lack of efficacy of beta-adrenergic blockers, topical).
Dosage & Administartion
used in adults, including elderly patients. Locally, 1 drop drug Kombigan instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye 2 times a day at intervals of 12 hours.
Combigan can be used with other ophthalmic drugs to reduce IOP. If you use two or more drugs, it is necessary to make the 5-minute interval between instillation.
As with other eye drops, to reduce possible systemic absorption it is recommended that short-term (for 1 min) pressing the lacrimal sac at the site of the lacrimal sac projection eye near the inner corner of the eye.
Contradictions
- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Increased airway reactivity, and cases including bronchial asthma, including a history of severe COPD.
- Sinus bradycardia, AV-blockade II-III degree, without an implanted artificial cardiac pacemaker, heart failure, cardiogenic shock.
- Concomitant therapy MAO inhibitors, antidepressants - tricyclic and tetracyclic (mianserin).
- Child age.
- The gestation period.
- The period of lactation.
