Timolol Darnitsa Indications

Drug is used for the eye hypertension, chronic open-angle glaucoma, secondary glaucoma teratment (in some cases).
 

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Decompensated heart failure or acute, some cardiac arrhythmias (AV-block II or III degree, sinus bradycardia), cardiogenic shock.
- Bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
 

Dosage & Administration

Timolol-Darnitsa should be instilled in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye by light pressure at the bottom of the bottle. Immediately after the drug should close your eyes and gently press your finger on the inside corner of the eye (near the nose) for 1-2 minutes to prevent the ingress of the solution to the lacrimal ducts and reduce possible systemic side effects of the drug.

At the beginning of therapy should be administered 1 drop of 0.25% solution of 2 times a day, the lack of efficiency - 1 drop of 0.5% solution of 2 times a day. After normalization of intraocular pressure maintenance dose - 1 drop of 0.25% solution of 1 times a day.
