Bifidumbacterin INDICATIONS
Indication.
In diseases of the gastrointestinal tract:
for the treatment of long-term intestinal dysfunctions of unknown etiology;
for acute intestinal infections (in the complex treatment of dysentery, salmonellosis, escherichia, viral diarrhea), for long-term intestinal dysfunctions of staphylococcal etiology, as well as for the treatment of convalescents after acute intestinal infections with long-term intestinal dysfunction;
in the complex treatment of children (including newborns, prematures), patients with pneumonia, sepsis and other purulent-infectious diseases, for the prevention of intestinal function disorders and prevention of the development of ulcerative-necrotic enterocolitis;
indicated for children with a severe premorbid condition: born prematurely or with signs of prematurity, who take antibiotics in the early neonatal period; in children whose mothers had severe toxicosis, extragenital diseases, a long dry period and other pathology; in children whose mothers have lactostasis, cracked nipples and resume breastfeeding after recovery from mastitis; in weakened children with anemia, hypotrophy, rickets, diathesis and other manifestations of allergies in case of whooping cough, especially if they have any disorders of intestinal function;
with early transfer of babies to artificial feeding or feeding with donor milk;
in older children and adults with acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the large and small intestines (colitis, enterocolitis) with a course against the background of microflora disturbances with a deficiency or absence of bifidoflora;
with intestinal dysfunctions as a result of intestinal dysbacteriosis that occurred after long-term antibacterial, hormonal, radiation and other types of therapy, from stressful situations and staying in extreme conditions, as well as for the purpose of preventing the specified pathology;
Due to the complex epidemic situation in maternity hospitals for the prevention of mastitis, local treatment of the mammary glands of nursing mothers of the "risk" group (in women with a retracted flat nipple, a decrease in its erection, the presence of cracks).
In diseases of the female genital area:
with violation of the purity of the vaginal secretion to the III-IV degree in pregnant women of the "risk" group,
with bacterial colpitis caused by staphylococcus and Escherichia coli (in monoflora and in associations), as well as with senile colpitis of a hormonal nature.
APPLICATION
Recommended dosage:
children from 3 to 12 years old - one bottle 2 times a day 30-40 minutes before meals;
adults and children over 12 years old - 2 vials 2-3 times a day 30-40 minutes before meals.
The recommended period of use is 20 days.
The further period of consumption is agreed with the doctor.
Method of preparation: add 1-2 teaspoons of boiled water at room temperature to the bottle and shake.
