Azitro Sandoz INDICATIONS
Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin:
- infection of upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis);
- lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, mild and severe);
- inflammation of the middle ear;
- skin and soft tissue infections;
- uncomplicated urogenital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
APPLICATION
Azitro Sandoz tablets. The dose and duration of use are determined by the doctor. Tablets, film-coated, should be taken without chewing together with the liquid 1 time per day. Tablets should be applied for 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, as food simultaneous reception may disturb absorption of azithromycin.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any other component of the preparation or other macrolide, ketolidnym antibiotics; severe liver dysfunction. Due to the theoretical possibility of ergotism, azithromycin should not be administered concurrently with ergot derivatives.
