Aspirin Cardio Indications
To reduce the risk:
- Death in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction;
- Morbidity and death in patients with myocardial infarction;
- Transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and stroke in patients with TIA;
- Morbidity and death in stable and unstable angina;
- Myocardial infarction in patients at high risk for cardiovascular complications (diabetes, controlled hypertension) and persons with multifactorial risk of cardiovascular disease (hyperlipidemia, obesity, smoking, advanced age and others.).
For prevention:
- Thrombosis and embolism after surgery for vessels (percutaneous angioplasty catheter translyuminarna (RTSA) carotid endarterectomy, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), arteriovenous shunting);
- Deep vein thrombosis and embolism lehenenovoyi artery after long immobilization (after surgery).
For secondary prevention of stroke.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to aspirin or other salicylates, or to any component of the drug.
- Asthma, caused by the use of salicylates or substances with a similar action, particularly NSAIDs, in history.
- Acute peptic ulcers.
- Hemorrhagic diathesis.
- Renal failure severe.
- Hepatic insufficiency severe.
- Heart failure severe.
- Combination with methotrexate in doses of 15 mg / week or more
Dosage & Administration
The drug is taken orally 30-60 minutes before a meal without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids.
To reduce the risk of death in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction using the drug in doses of 100-300 mg per day. Within 30 days after a heart attack continue to take a maintenance dose of 100-300 mg per day. After 30 days should consider further the prevention of recurrence of myocardial infarction.
To achieve rapid absorption of the application for this indication first tablet should be chewed.
To reduce the risk of illness and death in patients with myocardial infarction, use 100-300 mg per day.
For secondary prevention of stroke used drug in doses of 100-300 mg per day.
