Loprax Indications
- acute and chronic bronchitis
- bacterial exacerbation of bronchitis
- inflammation of the middle ear
- pharyngitis and tonsillitis bacterial etiology
- bacterial urinary tract infections, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, cervicitis.
Contraindications
Loprax is contraindicated for patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, other cephalosporins or penicillins, patients with porphyria.
Dosage & Administration
The suspension is intended for use in pediatrics. Children aged 6 months to 12 years weighing 50 kg the recommended daily dose is administered at a rate of 8 mg / kg once or 4 mg / kg in 2 divided doses every 12 hours.

Duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and set individually. The course of treatment - 3 (for uncomplicated infections) for 10-14 days. Tsefiksymu usual dose for children aged 12 years and weighing 50 kg is 400 mg once daily or 200 mg 2 times a day at intervals of 12 hours.
