ACC Indications

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine ​​or any other drug. Peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage.

Dosage & Administration

Adults and children aged 14 years appoint 400-600 mg acetylcysteine ​​per day, divided into 1-3 receptions.

Children aged 6 to 14 years appoint 400-600 mg per day, divided into 2-3 receptions.

Children aged 2 to 6 years appoint 200-400 mg per day, divided into 2 doses.

The drug is recommended to be taken after meals. The tablet should be dissolved in a glass of water and drink a solution as soon as possible. Additional fluid intake increases the mucolytic effect of the drug.
