L Thyroxin 100 Indications
- Treatment of benign thyroid diseases;
- prophylaxis of goiter relapse after resection of goiter with euthyroid condition of the thyroid gland;
- substitution therapy for hypothyroidism;
- an auxiliary agent for tireostatic therapy of hyperthyroidism after reaching the euthyroid functional state.
Additional indications for L-Thyroxin 100 BERLIN-CHEMI
- Suppressive and substitution therapy of thyroid cancer, mainly after thyroidectomy;
- as a diagnostic tool during a thyroid suppression test.
Contardictions
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug. Untreated hyperthyroidism of any origin (eg untreated thyrotoxicosis).
Untreated insufficiency of adrenal cortex. Untreated pituitary insufficiency.
Acute myocardial infarction.
Acute myocarditis.
Acute pancurrant. In pregnancy, the concomitant use of levothyroxine and any thyreostatic agent is contraindicated.
Dosage & Administation
Treatment of benign thyroid diseases: 75-200 μg / day.
Prophylaxis of goiter relapse: 75-200 μg / day.
Substitution therapy for hypothyroidism: the initial dose is 25-50 μg / day, supportive - 100-200 μg / day.
Concomitant therapy in the treatment of hyperthyroidism with thyreostatic agents: 50-100 μg / day.
Suppressive and substitution therapy for thyroid cancer: 150-300 μg / day.
When conducting a thyroid suppression test: 200 μg / day (14 days before the test).
