Kimacef INDICATIONS
- infections caused by susceptible to malaria infections: bacterial septicemia, peritonitis, meningitis, as well as: upper respiratory tract infections (acute and chronic bronchitis, infected bronchiectasis, bacterial pneumonia, lung abscess);
- infection of upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, otitis media);
- urinary tract infections (urethritis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, asymptomatic bacteriuria);
- infections of skin and soft tissues (erysipelas, wound infection, pyoderma, furunculosis, impetigo); bone and joint infections (osteomyelitis, septic arthritis);
- pelvic infection; gonorrhea (acute gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis), especially in cases where contraindicated benzylpenicillin;
- prevention of infectious complications in surgical interventions.
Treatment (in the early stages) and prevention (later stages) of Lyme disease in adults and children over the age of 12 years.
APPLICATION
dosing regime is set individually, taking into account the severity and localization of the infection, susceptibility.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to cefuroxime and other cephalosporin and β-lactam antibiotics, pregnancy and lactation.
