Aleric Indications

Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to loratadine or other ingredients.

Dosage & Administration

Orally. Tablets can be used regardless of the meal.

Adults and children over 12 years take 1 tablet (10 mg loratadine) 1 every day.

For children aged 2 to 12 years dosage depends on body weight. Children under 12 years old weighing more than 30 kg - 10 mg (1 tablet) 1 every day. Children weighing less than 30 kg of the drug is used in another dosage form.

Correction dosage elderly patients and patients with renal insufficiency not required.

Patients with impaired hepatic function.

Patients with impaired liver function severe drug should be administered at a lower initial dose because they may decrease clearance of loratadine. For adults and children weighing more than 30 kg the recommended starting dose is 10 mg a day.
