KETONAL Duo Indications
The disease of the joints, rheumatoid arthritis; seronegative spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriartrychnyy arthritis, reactive arthritis); gout, pseudogout; osteoarthritis; extraarticular rheumatism (tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis of the shoulder joint).
Pain syndrome, lumbago, post-traumatic pain, post-operative pain, pain with metastatic tumors in bone, algomenorrhea.
Dosage & Administration
Doses are selected individually depending on the patient and his response to treatment.
The recommended dose is 150 mg (1 capsule) per day.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity and course of the disease, but the side effects can be minimized when using the smallest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
When combined appointment of various forms of drug (capsules, tablets, suppositories, injection) maximum daily dose of ketoprofen should not exceed 200 mg.
Capsules are taken with food, drinking water or milk (at least 100 ml).
To prevent the negative impact of ketoprofen on the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract can simultaneously take antacids, proton pump inhibitors after consulting your doctor.
Elderly patients. In elderly patients, the risk of adverse reactions increases and if the intended therapy NSAIDs, recommended lowest effective dose of ketoprofen, and after 4 weeks of treatment, be sure to monitor on cases of gastrointestinal bleeding.
