Indopres Indications

Arterial hypertension

Dosage & Administration

Administered orally. Indopres administered at a dose of 2.5 mg (1 tablet) 1 time a day (in the morning) before meals. Effect of the drug develops gradually. Increasing the dose of the drug is impractical, because at higher doses the antihypertensive action of expression is not significantly increased, and the diuretic effect is increased. With little effect recommend combination therapy with other antihypertensive agents. Combination therapy with diuretics which may cause hypokalaemia, is not recommended.

Duration of treatment is determined depending on the disease and the effectiveness of therapy.
Not proven development of rebound hypertension after cessation of treatment with indapamide.
In severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 mL / min), treatment with the drug is contraindicated. Please note that in the elderly, this figure depends on the age, body weight, sex.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, other sulfonamides or their derivatives, hepatic encephalopathy, severe liver dysfunction, severe renal insufficiency, hypokalemia, during pregnancy and lactation, children's age.
