Ichthyoli ointment belongs to a drug group of antiseptics and disinfectants
Pharmachologic effect: Valium, local irritating, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, keratoplastic, improves blood circulation in the skin. In a direct action on the skin and mucous membranes causes slight irritation of sensitive nerve endings, alternating decreasing their sensitivity that leads to reflections that alter tissue trophism. It causes denaturation of the protein molecules. Absorbed by the skin and mucous membranes.
Beneficial effect on inflammatory skin area and subcutaneous layers, regulates vascular tone.
Indications: burns, erysipelas, eczema and other skin diseases, neuralgia, arthritis.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity.
Side effect: allergic reactions.
