Ibuprofen Indications

Symptomatic treatment of headache, toothache, dysmenorrhea, neuralgia, pain in the back, joints, muscles, rheumatic pains and signs of colds and flu.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen (or other component of the drug) and other NSAIDs (NSAIDs).
· Hypersensitivity reactions (eg asthma, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) observed earlier after using ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other NSAIDs.

· Gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with the use of NSAIDs in history.

Peptic ulcer / bleeding in the active form or a history of recurrent (two or more distinct episodes of exacerbation of peptic ulcer or bleeding).
Severe renal impairment and / or liver, severe heart failure.
· Cerebrovascular or other bleeding.

· Violation of hematopoiesis or blood clotting.

 
Dosage & Administration

Only short-term oral use.

It is necessary to apply the minimum effective dose for the shortest period of time to treat the symptoms of pain - less than 5 days or 3 days - fever symptoms. If necessary, the drug over 5 days (if symptoms persist) should seek medical advice.

The drug is administered to adults and children weighing more than 20 kg (aged 6 years). Usually applied at the rate of 20 to 30 mg / kg body weight per day. Do not exceed 30 mg / kg body weight per day.
