Eglonyl Indications
Short-term treatment of states of agitation and aggression in patients with acute and chronic mental disorders (schizophrenia, chronic abuse not schizophrenic character paranoid states, chronic hallucinatory psychosis).
Dosage & Administration
The drug is administered intramuscularly.
Adults-only patients.
Always prescribe the minimum effective dose. If the patient's clinical condition allows, treatment should start with a low dose (100 mg), followed by gradual dose titration possible.
The dose is 400 to 800 mg daily for 2 weeks.
Children
For adults only.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sulpiride or any of the excipients of the drug.
- Tumors (eg prolaktynosekretuyucha pituitary adenoma (prolactinoma) and breast cancer).
- Known or suspected diagnosis of pheochromocytoma.
- Acute porphyria.
- Combinations of neantyparkinsonichnymy agonists of dopamine (cabergoline, rotyhotyn and kinaholid) combination with levodopa or antiparkinsonian drugs (including ropinorol), combined with mehitazynom, tsytalopramom and estsytalopramom.
