Pharmacological properties. Streptotsid liniment 5% has antimicrobial activity against streptococci, pneumococci, E. coli and some other bacteria.
Indications for use. Streptotsid liniment 5% used for the treatment of purulent wounds, infected burns, erysipelas, and other inflammatory processe.
Dosage and administration. The drug is applied directly to the affected area or gauze imposed on the affected surface.
Side effect. The use of large amounts of the drug can cause dermatitis, allergic reactions such as urticaria.
