Edem Indications
Symptoms associated with:
- Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, nasal discharge, itching, edema and nasal congestion, itching and redness of eyes, watery eyes, itching in the area of the mouth and coughing);
- Urticaria (itching, rash).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the drug or loratadine.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children over 12 years - the drug is prescribed 5 mg (1 tablet) 1 every day regardless of the meal. The drug is recommended to take regularly at the same time. The tablet should be swallowed whole without chewing, but with drinking a little water. The duration of treatment depends on the severity and course of the disease.
Treating intermittent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for less than 4 days a week or less than 4 weeks) should be carried out based on the data history: the disappearance of symptoms stop and resume again after they occur. In persistent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for more than 4 days per week or more than 4 weeks) treatment should be continued throughout the period of contact with the allergen.
