Corglycon Indications
Acute and chronic heart failure (intolerance of digitalis).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the drug, as well as other cardiac glycosides.
Heart failure is in violation of diastolic function, acute myocardial infarction, atrioventricular block of varying degrees, bradycardia, beats, sick sinus syndrome without an implanted pacemaker, unstable angina, hypersensitive carotid sinus syndrome.
Acute myocarditis, endocarditis, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, constrictive pericarditis.
Aneurysm of the thoracic aorta isolated mitral stenosis, WPW syndrome. Hypercalcemia, hypokalemia, glycoside intoxication.
Dosage & Administration
Corglycon is introduced intravenously, slowly for 5-6 minutes (preparation breed only 10-20 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution) 1-2 times a day.
Adults are administered with a single dose 0.5-1 ml for children aged 2 to 5 years - 0.2-0.5 ml; from 6 to 12 years - 0,5-0,75 ml. When you enter 2 times a day interval between injections is 8-12 hours.
The maximum dose intravenously for adults: single - 1 ml, daily - 2 ml.
