Vitamin B-12 Indications
Treatment of malignant, post-hemorrhagic and iron deficiency anemia, aplastic anemia in children, anemia of the nutritional nature caused by toxic substances and drugs associated with vitamin B12 deficiency, regardless of the cause of the deficiency (resection of the stomach, helminth infestations, violation of intestinal absorption, pregnancy ) Polyneuritis, trigeminal neuralgia, radiculitis, causalgia, migraine, diabetic neuritis, lateral amyotrophic sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, alcohol delirium. Apply for children with dystrophy, after suffering infectious diseases, with spra (along with folic acid), with liver diseases (hepatitis, cirrhosis, Botkin's disease), radiation sickness, psoriasis, herpetiomorphic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, photodermatoses.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Erythraemia, erythrocytosis. Neoplasms, except for cases accompanied by megaloblastic anemia and deficiency of vitamin B12. Acute thromboembolic disease. Angina tension of high functional class.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is used subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously, and with lateral funicular myelosis and amyotrophic sclerosis, also intralumbalno.
Adults
In B12-deficient anemia, the drug should be used at doses of 100-200 μg (0.1-0.2 mg) a day before remission.
