Ventolin Evohaler Indications
Short-term (4 to 6 hours) bronchiectasis with rapid onset (about 5 minutes) with airway obstruction.
Relief of asthma attacks in diseases involving airway obstruction such as asthma.
Preventing episodes of bronchospasm associated with the effect caused by the allergen or physical activity.
In the treatment of patients with asthma.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity history to any component of the drug. Although salbutamol in solution for intravenous injection and sometimes in the form of tablets used in the management of preterm labor, salbutamol in aerosol form for inhalation in these indications is not applicable. Not used salbutamol in case of threat to abortion.
Dosage & Administration
Aerosol is intended for inhalation use only by mouth. Patients who are difficult to synchronize breathing with the use of an inhaler, it is recommended to use optional spacer - a device for facilitating inhalation of inhaled drugs.
Adults (including the elderly)
To relieve the exacerbation of asthma symptoms, including acute bronchospasm, you can use one inhalation (100 mg) as a minimum starting dose. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 200 mg (2 inhalations).
Preventive 10-15 minutes before exercise or exposure to allergens expected use 200 mcg (2 inhalations).
During prolonged maintenance therapy recommended 200 micrograms (2 inhalations) 4 times a day.
Children aged 4 to 12 years
For relief of acute bronchospasm used 1 inhalation (100 micrograms). If necessary, the dose can be increased to 200 mg (2 inhalations).
Children aged over 12 years of use dosage as for adults.

During prolonged maintenance therapy recommended 200 micrograms (2 inhalations) 4 times a day.
The total daily dose should not exceed salbutamol 800 mcg (8 inhalations).
