VANCOMYCIN-PHARMEX lyophilisate powder
- treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive microorganisms sensitive to the drug, including methicillin-resistant strains: endocarditis, septicemia, osteomyelitis, meningitis, infections of the lower respiratory tract (pneumonia), skin and soft tissue infections;
- treatment of patients with an allergy to penicillin and cephalosporins;
- endocarditis caused by Streptococcus viridans or S. bovis, enterococci, or S.epidermidis diphtheroids after prosthetic heart valve.
Vancomycin-Pharmex is indicated for the prevention of bacterial endocarditis, patients with pathogen resistance to penicillin and valvular heart disease (regardless etiology), in dental procedures or other surgical procedures.
The drug is indicated for oral use only for treatment antibiotikzavisimogo pseudomembranous colitis caused by Clostridium difficile and Staphylococcus enterocolitis, with the ineffectiveness of parenteral administration of vancomycin.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to vancomycin; I trimester of pregnancy.
