Ukrliv Indications
- To dissolve cholesterol gallstones rentgennegativnyh no more than 15 mm in diameter in patients with a functioning gallbladder, despite the presence of a gall (s) of stone (s).
- For the symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) in the absence of decompensated cirrhosis.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any substance included in the composition of the drug.
- Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts.
- Blockage of the bile duct (common bile duct blockage or bladder duct).
- Tablets Ukrliv® not indicated for patients with gall bladder, is not visualized by radiological methods, with calcified stones, impaired contractility of the gall bladder or those that have frequent biliary colic.
- Cirrhosis of liver decompensation.
Dosage & Administration
There are Age restrictions for applying Ukrliv tablets. For patients weighing less than 47 kg or who have difficulty in swallowing tablets, the drug can be applied to another Ukrliv dosage form (suspension).
At various indications below are recommended daily doses.
For dissolution of cholesterol gallstones
Approximately 10 mg ursodeoksiholievoy acid per kilogram of body weight per day, which is equivalent to:
47 - 60 kg - 2 tablets
61-80 kg - 3 tablets
81-100 kg - 4 tablets
More than 100 kg - 5 tablets
The tablets should be taken one time a day, swallowing whole and washed down with a small amount of liquid, the evening before bedtime.
