Thiocetam Indications

treatment of ischemic stroke and its consequences such as impaired speech, mental and somatic disorders, decreased activity, violation of emotional sphere; treatment (recovery period), vascular, toxic, traumatic encephalopathy; the elimination of withdrawal symptoms when alcohol intoxication, diabetic encephalopathy.

Dosage & Administration

Ischemic stroke and to treat its consequences - appoint 20-30 ml of the product, pre-diluted in 100-150 ml of 0.9% solution of sodium chloride, and is introduced into / in the drip 1 time per day. The course of treatment is 2 weeks.

Treatment of encephalopathy and relief of withdrawal symptoms in alcohol intoxication prescribe / m 5 mL of Formulation 1 for 10-15 days once a day.

Diabetic encephalopathy - 5 ml / m 1 times a day for 10 days from the appointment of further 2 tablets 3 times a day for 45 days for 30 minutes before eating

Contradictions

- hypersensitivity to piracetam or Thiotriazoline, as well as other components of the drug;

- end-stage renal failure, acute renal failure (creatinine clearance at <20 mL / min);

- Huntington's chorea;

- acute phase of ischemic attacks on the hemorrhagic type.
