Thiocetam Forte Indications

Transient and chronic cerebral circulatory disorders caused by atherosclerosis of the cerebral vessels and cerebral circulation disorders in the past.

The drug is also indicated for disorders of cerebral blood circulation, metabolism of the brain caused by head injury, intoxication, diabetic encephalopathy, as well as for rehabilitation after ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.

Dosage & Administration

The duration of treatment determined by the doctor in each individual case basis, depending on the course of the disease.
When transient and chronic cerebral circulatory disorders and for rehabilitation after ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, 1 tablet 3 times a day for 25-30 days.

Tablets Tiotsetam Forte are administered 30 minutes before a meal.

The course of treatment is from 2-3 weeks to 3-4 months.

For the treatment of diabetic encephalopathy prescribed 1 tablet 3 times a day for 45 days.

Contradictions

- hypersensitivity to piracetam or Thiotriazoline, as well as other components of the drug;

- end-stage renal failure, acute renal failure (creatinine clearance at <20 mL / min);

- Huntington's chorea;

- acute phase of ischemic attacks on the hemorrhagic type.
