Stamlo Indications
- Arterial hypertension;
- chronic stable angina;
- vasospastic angina /stenocardia (Prinzmetal angina).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridines, amlodipine or to any other component of the product;
severe hypotension; shock (including cardiogenic shock);
obstruction output tract of the left ventricle (eg aortic stenosis severe);
unstable angina / stenocardia;
use within 8 days after myocardial infarction;
hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.
Dosage & Administration
Tablets use internally, regardless of the meal.
Adults. Typically, treatment of hypertension and angina, the recommended starting dose is 5 mg amlodipine once daily 1. Depending on the patient's response to therapy dose can be increased to a maximum dose of 10 mg 1 time a day.
Children under 6 years. The recommended starting dose of amlodipine for this category of patients is 2.5 mg once daily 1. If you need blood pressure is achieved within 4 weeks, the dose can be increased to 5 mg per day. Use of the drug at doses above 5 mg for these patients not studied.
Elderly patients. No need for dose selection for this category of patients. Increasing the dose should be made with caution.
