Rozacom Indications

It is indicated for the treatment of increased intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or pseudoexfoliative glaucoma, when topical administration of beta-blockers alone is insufficient.

Contradictions

 

- reactive respiratory diseases, including a history of bronchial asthma or bronchial asthma, or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;

- sinus bradycardia, sinus weakness syndrome, sinoatrial block, atrioventricular block of II or III degree, not controlled by a pacemaker, severe heart failure, cardiogenic shock;

- severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance (CrCl) hyperchloremic acidosis;

hypersensitivity to one or two active substances or to any of the components of the drug, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The above diseases are based on information about the individual active ingredients and are not specific to the combination.

Dosage & Administration

If the drug Rozacom is used as monotherapy, instill 1 drop in the affected eye (eyes) 2 times a day.

If several local ophthalmic drugs are used in the treatment, their use should occur at intervals of at least 10 minutes.

When using the drug it is necessary to avoid contact of the dropper with the surface of the eye or the skin around the eyes. Otherwise, microorganisms that cause eye (s) infection may enter the solution. The use of contaminated solution can lead to severe eye damage, up to and loss of vision.

The order of application of drops:

Before the first use of the drug, make sure that the vial is equipped with the original tape. To open the vial, break the ribbon by unscrewing the cap counterclockwise. Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid down to create a gap between the eyelid and the eyeball. Invert the vial and gently push until one drop falls into the eye. Pressing lightly on the walls of the vial is enough to measure one drop. DO NOT enlarge the dropper hole. DO NOT TOUCH THE LIMBS OF THE EYE DROP, EYELASH AND OTHER SURFACES. If the doctor prescribed to instill the drug in the second eye, you should repeat the steps specified in p. 3, 4. After instillation it is necessary to tighten a bottle cap.
