Prestarium Indications

- Hypertension.

- Heart failure.

- Preventing recurrent stroke in patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

- Prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with documented stable coronary artery disease.

- Long-term treatment reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and heart failure (of the study EUROPA).

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to perindopril or to any of the excipients, or to any other ACE inhibitor;

- Angioedema in history after the use of ACE inhibitors;

- Idiopathic or hereditary angioedema.

Dosage & Administration

For oral administration.

Tablets, 2.5 mg (2.5 mg Prestarium®) and 10 mg (10 mg Prestarium®) are not subject to division. Tablets 5 mg (5 mg Prestarium®) subject to division.

Tablets are recommended to take 1 per day in the morning before eating.
