Pikovit Indications
For children:
with reduced appetite;
with physical and mental overload in school children;
with underdevelopment;
as an aid in the treatment of antibiotics;
during seasonal shortage of fruit and vegetables in the diet.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug; hypervitaminosis A and D; nephrolithiasis; renal failure; expressed renal dysfunction; gout; hyperuricemia; erythremia; polycythemia; thromboembolism; thrombophlebitis; fructose intolerance, glucose malabsorption syndrome-galactose failure saharazy-izomaltazy; metabolism of iron or copper; hypercalcemia; hypercalciuria; hyperthyroidism; chronic glomerulonephritis; chronic heart failure; a history of sarcoidosis; active peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer (due to possible increase gastric acidity); active TB of the lungs; concomitant use of retinoids.
Dosage & Administration
Children aged 4 to 6 years - 1 tablet coated 1-2 times a day;
Children aged 7 to 14 years: 1 tablet coated 2-3 times a day.
For the treatment of vitamin deficiencies
Children aged 4 to 6 years - 1 tablet coated 4-5 times a day;
Children aged 7 to 14 years: 1 tablet coated 5-7 times a day.
