Pharmatex Indications

Local contraception.

This method of contraception can be applied to all women of reproductive age. The tool is used both independently and in combination with other methods, which increases their contraceptive effect.

Application is appropriate:
- if there is temporary or permanent contraindications to oral contraceptives or intrauterine systems, for example, after childbirth, breast-feeding, after an interruption of pregnancy and the menopause;
- if necessary episodic prevent pregnancy (irregular sexual life);
- when using oral contraception if a woman forgets to take a pill late, or (in this case it is necessary to additionally use Pharmatex in any cycle);
- as an adjunct in barrier contraception (vaginal diaphragm) or the presence of an intrauterine system, especially with simultaneous use of certain medications (eg NSAIDs).

Dosage & Administration

Release suppository from its protective packaging. In the supine position to introduce it as deeply as possible into the vagina. The suppository dissolves within 5 minutes after the administration and is valid for four hours, the contraceptive effect is retained for one sex. In case of repeated sexual intercourse is necessary to introduce a new suppository Pharmatex.

Features of the application:

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity (allergic reactions or irritant effect) to the drug, vaginitis, ulcers and irritation of the mucous membrane of the vagina and cervix. The inability to properly use vaginal tablets of persons with mental disorders and persons who do not allow any interference on the genitals, or those who are not able to understand and accept this type of contraception.
