Paracetamol Indications
Symptomatic treatment of pain mild or moderate degree and / or conditions accompanied by hyperthermic response.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
Dosage & Administration
Paracetamol suppositories are used rectally. The dose for a child depends on body weight and age.
A single dose of 15 mg / kg body weight. The drug is used in 4 receptions at intervals of 6 hours.
The daily dose - 60 mg / kg body weight.
Rectal Suppositories by 0.08 g are used in children aged 3 to 12 months when the weight of the child is 4 to 10 kg. Apply 3 to 4 suppositories a day intervals between injections 6:00 depending on body weight at the rate of 60 mg / kg / day.
Sample calculation:
4 kg x 60 mg
= 3 (suppositories per day)
80 mg

4 kg - body weight of the child;
60 mg - daily dose of paracetamol per 1 kg of body weight;
80 mg - the amount of acetaminophen in 1 suppositories.
Rectal Suppositories by 0.17 g are used for children aged 1 to 6 years old, when the child's body weight is an average of 10 to 20 kg. Apply 3 to 4 suppositories a day intervals between injections 6:00 depending on body weight at the rate of 60 mg / kg / day.
