Oxiliten Indications
Dosage form. Lyophilisates for solution for injection.
Treatment of:
Rheumatoid arthritis; nonspecific infectious polyarthritis; gouty arthritis;
- Arthrosis; osteoarthritis; low back pain;
- Ankilospondylit;
- Sciatica; lumbago;
- Acute diseases of the musculoskeletal system, injuries, sprains; soft tissue injury, myositis;
- Tendinitis, bursitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to tenoxicam, to drug excipients or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (symptoms of asthma, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria).
Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, indicate a history of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the digestive tract, severe gastritis or gastro-intestinal bleeding, expressed human liver, hepatic or renal insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart failure.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is administered intravenously and intramuscularly to adults.
Oxiliten is used predominantly in the first 5-7 days of treatment. The average therapeutic daily dose of 20 mg Oksylitenu. In acute attacks of arthritis prescribe 40 mg 1 time per day for the first 2 days, then - 20 1 mg once daily for 5 days. When the positive effect of the dose can be reduced to 10 mg a day for 7 days.
Before using the contents of the vial should be dissolved in 2 ml of water for injection. Oxiliten should be given deep intramuscularly or slowly intravenously. Standard treatment is 7 days. In severe active disease musculoskeletal treatment drug Oxiliten can be up to 14 days.
