Nose spray Dr Theiss Indications

Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion with colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis.

To facilitate the outflow of secretions in diseases of the paranasal sinuses.

Adjunctive therapy in cases of otitis media (to eliminate swelling of the nasal mucosa).

To facilitate rhinoscopy.

Contraindications

Excessive sensitivity (allergy) to ksilometazolina hydrochloride, benzalkonium horydu or to any other component of the drug; dry rhinitis (Rhinitis sicca), conditions after surgical removal of the pineal gland through the nose (transfenoyidalna hipofizektomiya) and other surgical intervention oholyuvannyam mater, increased intraocular pressure, especially in angle-closure glaucoma, simultaneous treatment of MAO inhibitors and within 14 days after the termination of their use; acute coronary disease, coronary asthma, hyperthyroidism.

Dosage & Administration

Before using the drug should thoroughly clean the nose.

The duration of use depends on the disease and should not exceed 10 days.

Prolonged use of drugs that relieve swelling of the nasal mucosa, can cause chronic swelling, nasal obstruction, and later - atrophy of the nasal mucosa.
