Nifuroxazide Sperco Indications
Acute diarrhea of infectious etiology.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide, to other derivatives of 5-nitrofuran or to other components of the drug.
Dosage & Administration
Nifuroxazide should be used internally, regardless of food intake, at regular intervals.
Before use, the suspension should be shaken. For dosaging, use a measuring spoon (5 ml capacity), graduated to 2.5 ml, enclosed in a package.
Children aged 2 years: 5 ml of suspension 3 times a day.
Adults: 5 ml of suspension 4 times a day.
The maximum daily dose of nifuroxazide is 800 mg.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
