Nasivin Indications
- Acute respiratory diseases accompanied by nasal congestion.
- Allergic rhinitis.
- Vasomotor rhinitis.
- To restore drainage and nasal breathing in diseases of the paranasal nasal cavity, eustachitis.
- To eliminate the edema before diagnostic manipulations in the nasal passages.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Atrophic rhinitis.
When using inhibitors of monoamine oxidase (MAO) and within 2 weeks of discontinuation of MAO inhibitors and other drugs that raise blood pressure.
With increased intraocular pressure, especially in the closure glaucoma.
In severe forms of heart disease (such as coronary heart disease, hypertension).
Pheochromocytoma.
Metabolic disorders (hyperthyroidism, diabetes, porphyria).
Hypertrophy of the prostate.
Dosage & Administration
Nazivin 0.01%, 0.025%, 0.05%, drops prescribed for use in the nose.
Adults and children aged 6 years
Apply a drop of 0.05% Nazivin 1-2 drops in each nostril 2-3 times a day.
Children aged 1 to 6 years
Apply drug Nazivin 0.025% 1-2 drops in each nostril 2-3 times a day.
Infants
Infants under 4 weeks administered 1 drop Nazivin 0.01% in each nostril 2-3 times a day. On the 5th week of life and up to 1 year - 1-2 drops in each nostril 2-3 times a day.
The efficiency of this procedure, depending on the age of 1-2 drops of 0.01% solution is applied to cotton wool and rub the nasal passages.
