Naphtizin Indications

Acute rhinitis. As an aid in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and middle ear.

To reduce the swelling of the mucosa during diagnostic intervention.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa.

Dosage & Administration

Naphtizin is instilled in each nostril, throwing his head back slightly and rejecting it right with instillation in the left nostril and left - with instillation into the right nostril.

With the purpose of treatment. Adults and children over 15 years - 1-3 drops 0.05% -0.1% solution in each nostril.

Children aged 3 to 6 years old to apply a solution of 0.05% - 1-2 drops, children aged 6 to 15 years - 2 drops in each nostril.

Naphtizin is applied 3 times a day, but not more than 4 hours.

Naphtizin can not be used more than 5 days for adults and more than 3 days - children.
