Nakom Indications
Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's syndrome.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, severe psychosis, education suspicious undiagnosed skin (dermatitis) or a history of melanoma; the simultaneous application of non-selective MAO inhibitors; angle-closure glaucoma.
Children under the age of 18 years.
Dosage & Administration
Dosing regimen set individually depending on disease severity, comorbidity and treatment response. Typically, the initial dose is ½ tablet lac 1 or 2 times a day after meals. For optimal response to treatment dose can be increased gradually by adding ½ a tablet every day or every other day. Most patients enough drug in 3-6 tablets per day. The daily dose should not exceed 8 tablets (200 mg of carbidopa and 2 g of levodopa) in patients with a body weight of 70 kg.
The therapeutic effect is manifested within 1 day, sometimes - after taking one dose. The overall effect is usually achieved within 7 days.
