Monural INDICATIONS
treatment of acute uncomplicated infections of the lower urinary tract caused by microorganisms sensitive to fosfomycin.
Prevention during diagnostic tests and surgical procedures.
APPLICATION
Monural administered orally on an empty stomach, preferably at bedtime, after emptying the bladder. The contents of the package is dissolved in 1/2 cup of water. Dosage is determined individually.
Normally, a single dose for adults and elderly patients (75 years) in the acute phase of the disease is 3 g (1 packet) once.
In order to prevent urinary tract infection during surgery, transurethral diagnostic tests take the contents of the first package in 3 hours prior to the intervention and the second package - 24 hours after the intervention.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
hypersensitivity to the drug, severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <10 mL / min).
SIDE EFFECTS
Gastrointestinal: diarrhea, heartburn, nausea. Allergic reactions, skin rash.
