Mildronate GX Indications

Treatment of the following cases:

- Heart disease and circulatory system: load stable angina, chronic heart failure (NYHA I-III functional class), cardiomyopathy, functional disorders of the heart and circulatory system.

- Acute and chronic circulatory disorders of the brain.

- Reduced performance, physical and psycho-emotional overload.

- In the period of recovery after cerebrovascular disorders, head injuries and encephalitis.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to meldoniyu or to any of the excipients of the drug.

- Increased intracranial pressure (in violation of the venous outflow, intracranial tumors).

- Severe hepatic and / or renal failure (there is insufficient data on safety use).

Dosage & Administration

Use internally before or after meals.

Adults

The optimal dose for adults is 1 g (2 tablets) per day. The dose may be used once or dividing it into two stages. The maximum daily dose of 1 g

Duration of treatment - 4-6 weeks. The course of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year.

Elderly patients

For elderly patients with dysfunction of the liver and / or kidney may reduce the dose meldoniyu.

Patients with renal impairment

Since the drug is excreted through the kidneys, patients with mild renal impairment and moderate lower dose should be used meldonium.

Patients with hepatic impairment

Patients with impaired liver of mild to moderate severity should use a lower dose meldonium.
