Metapril Indications
- Hypertension (HT), including symptomatic;
- Chronic heart failure (CHF) I-III NYHA functional class (in the complex therapy).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to meldoniyu, lisinopril or to any component of the drug;
- Hypersensitivity to other ACE inhibitors;
- Increased intracranial pressure (in violation of the venous outflow, intracranial tumors), organic central nervous system (CNS)
- Angioedema in history during previous treatment with ACE inhibitors;
- Hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;
- Pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is taken orally, regardless of food intake.
Due to possible action of excitatory meldoniyu not recommended Metapryl shortly before bedtime.
Before treatment is necessary to compensate for the loss of fluids and salts. During treatment should monitor kidney function and potassium concentration in the serum.
Dosage treatment meldoniyem / lisinopril individually for each patient depending on blood pressure. Individual selection physician performs maintenance dose titration doses according to the recommended scheme:
· 1 capsule 500 / 2.5 * mg;
· 2 capsules of 500 / 2.5 * mg;
· 1 capsule 500/5 mg and 1 capsule 500 / 2.5 * mg;
· 2 capsules 500/5 mg per day;
· 1 capsule 500/10 mg and 1 capsule 500 / 2.5 * mg;
· 1 capsule 500/10 mg and 500/5 mg 1 capsule per day;
· 1 capsule 500/20 mg or 500/10 mg 2 capsules per day.
