Melitor Indications
Treatment of major depressive episodes.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipient of the drug.
- Violation of the liver (cirrhosis or active liver disease phase) or transaminase elevations greater than 3 times the upper limit of performance standards.
- Use in combination with potent inhibitors of CYP1A2 (fluvoxamine, ciprofloxacin)
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration.
Melitor, tablets, film coated can be used regardless of the meal.
The recommended dose is 25 mg 1 time a day at bedtime.
If after 2 weeks after initiation of therapy improve the clinical condition is insufficient, the dose may be increased to 50 mg 1 time per day, ie 2 tablets of 25 mg to be taken once before bedtime.
