Zathrin Indications
Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin:
- Upper respiratory tract infections (bacterial pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media);
- Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis and bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia);
- Skin and soft tissue (chronic erythema migrans (I stage of Lyme disease), erysipelas, impetigo and secondary pyoderma);
- Genital infections (uncomplicated and complicated urethritis / cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin, other macrolide antibiotics or ketolidnyh or to any other component of the drug. Severe hepatic dysfunction or kidney.
Dosage & Administration
Zatryn is taken internally 1 per day, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
For adults and children weighing more than 45 kg: infections of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues (with the exception of chronic migratory erythema): 500 mg for 3 days.
