Hemorol Indications
Indications for use:
For the symptomatic treatment of external and internal hemorrhoids, anal fissures and anal itching.
As a prophylactic agent after sigmoidoscopy.
Dosage & Administration
Candles are used for rectal administration. The introduction of the drug is preferably carried out after a bowel movement.
It is recommended to introduce rectally 1 suppository for the night, in severe cases, from 2 to 3 suppositories during the day. Candles are used to the pain of leveling, but not more than 7 days in a row. To remove the suppository, the foil should be cut vertically from the tip of the candle and break it vigorously.
Side effects
The drug has a safety profile of use in patients. Possible minor discomfort (5-10 minutes) to dissolve candle by benzocaine component. In rare cases, observed symptoms of itching and redness that was characterized as an allergic reaction and require discontinuation.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance of benzocaine or components of the drug components.
Not recommended for use Hemorol drug in oncology.
