Ciprofloxacin Indications
- Infections of the upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, mastoiditis).

- Skin and soft tissue infections (infected ulcers, wounds, burns, external ear canal infections, abscesses, cellulitis). • Infections of the bones and joints (osteomyelitis, septic arthritis).
- Intestinal infections.
- Tuberculosis (severe due to the main antituberculosis resistant strains of Mycobacterium drug) in conjunction with anti-drugs. • Prevention of urinary tract infections during urological surgeries.

Dosing and Administration
Inside (not liquid, and drinking plenty of fluids), 250 mg (in severe infections - at 500-750 mg), 2 p / day. B / - 200-400 mg (in severe infections - 600-800 mg), 2 p / day.
The duration of infusion was 30 min at a dose of 200 mg or 60 minutes - at a dose of 400 mg and higher.
Local: 1-2 eye drop every 4 h, in severe infections - 2 drop in the eye every hour. The maximum single dose - 750 mg.
The maximum daily dose - 2000 mg. Mean daily dose for adults - 500-1000 mg (orally).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity (including to other. Fluoroquinolones and quinolones).
- Deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
- Children and teens (up to the end of an intense period of growth).
- Pregnancy.
- Breast-feeding (for the period of treatment).
