Setegis Indications
Symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Arterial hypertension (as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipients and in other similar structure α-adrenergic antagonists.
Pregnancy, lactation.
Children age.
Dosage & Administration
Tablets should be taken regardless of meals, without chewing 1 per day. Duration of treatment determined by the physician individually.
Benign prostatic hypertrophy
he initial dose is 1 mg. The maintenance dose is 5.10 mg 1 time per day. The maximum daily dose is 20 mg. The therapeutic effect is usually observed after 2 weeks of treatment. To achieve a sustainable effect treatment should be supportive dose 4 weeks.
Hypertension
Recommended selection of individual daily dose for each patient.
The initial dose is 1 mg and appointed the night. Supporting daily dose gradually increased to 2 mg, 5 mg or 10 mg 1 time a day, doubling it from week intervals to achieve the desired level of blood pressure. The maximum daily dose is 20 mg.
