Tyzine Xylo Indications
To reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in acute rhinitis, episodes of heavy discharge from the nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
For ease of secretion in case of paranasal sinusitis and inflammation of the mucous membrane of the middle ear combined with a cold.
Contraindications
Tyzine Xylo should not be used in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance ksilometazolina hydrochloride or to any of the excipients of the drug;
- Dry inflammation of the nasal membranes of the nose to form scabs (rhinitis dry);
- Simultaneous treatment inhibitors of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor treatment monoamine oxidase (MAO) for two weeks before the application Tyzine Xylo nasal drops or other drugs can increase blood pressure;
- Closure glaucoma;
- Acute coronary disease;
- Coronary asthma;
- Hyperthyroidism.
Dosage & Administration
Doses
The dose depends on the patient's individual sensitivity and clinical effect.
If not prescribed otherwise, children aged 2 to 6 years instilled 1-2 drops drug Tyzine Xylo (0.05% solution) in each nostril up to 3 times a day. Children aged 6 years and adults - 1-2 drops drug Tyzine Xylo (0.1%) in each nostril up to 3 times a day as needed.
Application method
To use Tyzine Xylo solution from the common cold should zaprokynuty little head. Do not let the rubber stopper to remove the pipette from the nose, so as not to drag the selection into the vial. Wipe dosing pipette after each use.
Duration of treatment
Tyzine Xylo should not be used longer than 3-5 days in a row, unless recommended by a doctor.
