Spasmex Indications

Symptomatic treatment of idiopathic detrusor overactivity or detrusor hyperactivity neurological accompanied symptoms, impaired bladder function (incontinence and compelling urge to urinate).

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug;

- Urinary retention;

- Closure glaucoma;

- Tachyarrhythmia;

- Myasthenia gravis;

- Severe chronic inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease);

- Toxic megacolon;

- Renal failure requiring dialysis (creatinine clearance <10 mL / min / 1.73 m2);

- Prostatic hyperplasia;

- Urinary tract infection;

- Abnormal liver function;

- During pregnancy and lactation;

- Children age.

Dosage & Administration

Apply. The inside empty stomach (before meals) without chewing, drinking plenty of water.
Dosage and duration of treatment determines the physician individually for each patient based on clinical presentation and severity of disease.

For the treatment of idiopathic detrusor overactivity appoint 10-15 mg trospiyu chloride 3 times a day (30-45 mg daily).

For the treatment of neurologic detrusor overactivity administered 20 mg chloride trospiyu 2 times a day, morning and evening (40 mg).

In patients with renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance 10-30 ml / min / 1.73 m2) daily dose trospiyu chloride should not exceed 20 mg.
